Headstone Insurance For Your Peace of Mind
If you are worried about the possibility of a memorial that you purchase for a loved one quickly falling into a state of disrepair, you will be pleased to know that the cost of all memorial purchases from Joseph A Hey & Son includes a one-off payment for headstone insurance: 5 years of cover that will ensure you do not have to spend more money to repair a headstone damaged by falling trees or graffiti, or to replace one that is stolen.
If the memorial that you choose is damaged or stolen, the insurance policy we provide will cover the cost of repair or replacement.
Ensuring that your loved one’s final resting place will continue to look exactly as you would wish.
You can however choose not pay for this insurance, and we will be more than happy to subtract the cost from your bill and to sell you a memorial without any such cover.
What Our Memorial Insurance Does Not Cover
Before you purchase an insurance policy of any kind?
It is important to know not just what it covers but also what it does not cover.
Whilst we have tried to make our policies as comprehensive as possible.
Certain exclusions were required by the underwriters in order to keep premium costs at a reasonable level for our customers.
Cleaning, repair and restoration of any damage that is not specifically covered by the policy.
Normal deterioration, caused by exposure to sunlight, rain and other weather conditions over time.
Depreciation in the value of your memorial.
If you would like to restore a headstone that has deteriorated over time, due to constant exposure to the elements, we can certainly advise you on how to approach this task but you will have to bear the cost of restoration yourself.
